Debate over cost of toilet upgrades

THE IPOH City Council has been accused of overspending ratepayers’ money for the upgrading of 20 public toilets here.

Buntong assemblyman A. Sivasubramaniam revealed during the state assembly sittings that Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir had stated in a written reply that the total cost to upgrade the toilets was over RM1.9mil.
