A colourful showcase in National Day parade

1 Performers in ethnic attire took part in the National Day parade in Kota Kinabalu.2 Beetle cars were also spotted.

KOTA KINABALU: The gloomy weather with rain threatening resulted in an extra short National Day parade here.

The sky became dark about half an hour into the event but that did not dampen the spirits of the 5,000 people who had arrived as early as 7am to cheer the participants on.
