Cost of towing is not the issue, say councils

LOCAL authorities have refuted claims that lack of income is the reason behind the delay in towing away abandoned vehicles.

Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) deputy communications director Shahrin Ahmad said the council was concerned with the safety of the residents and that took precedence.
