Joyous gift of prosthetic limbs

Eight Penang Hospital rehabilitation patients recently received prosthetic limbs from the Penang Council of Datuks at a total cost of RM132,000. They had lost their legs through diseases or accidents.

This is the fourth year since the council started prosthesis aid and the act of generosity looks set to continue yearly, said its deputy president Datuk Dr Kenny Ong.
