Europe’s finest actresses came out in dazzling outfits – and some weird ones – at the popular film festival in Italy.
Celebrities have been turning up in various styles and trends at the Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy. Here are some of the more notable ones, and a few that we would like to rip apart with a shredder.
What we like:
Leggy show-offs: French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg (left) and Lebanese actress Nadine Labaki flaunting what they've got.
Similar but different: (From left) US actress Emma Stone, Armenian actress Arevik Martirosyan and Italian actress Paola Cortellesi all wore the same styles on the red carpet. We love the colour of Stone's frock, but Martirosyan's dress has the best fit.
What we have no love for:
British actress Andrea Riseborough (left) channelling a lost penguin (cute clutch, though) at the premiere of her movie Birdman, while French actress Catherine Deneuve looks like she went to outer space and stole some tassels from aliens.
It's gettin' weird in here: We love US actress Kathryn Hahn (left) but we're really not sure why she's wearing a dress covered in what looks like bugs (or even worse, pimples). Meanwhile, French-Italian actress Chiara Mastroianni walked the red carpet wearing some tea towels.
