PETALING JAYA: News that Mudajaya Group Bhd has clinched its first contract award this year has boosted its shares, with at least one research house upgrading the stock.

Shares of Mudajaya rose 8 sen, or 7%, to RM1.15. Despite the gain, the counter has lost 20.7% year to date.
