Icon execs get 6-month leave to assist probe


PETALING JAYA: Oil and gas services provider Icon Offshore Bhd has granted its two top executives – chief executive officer (CEO) Dr Jamal Yusof and chief operating officer (COO) Rahman Yusof – a six-month leave of absence to enable them to focus on assisting ongoing investigations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Icon Offshore reiterated that its deputy CEO Capt Hassan Ali would assume the leadership position while Jamal and Rahman were absent, and would continue to discharge all responsibilities of the CEO.
