Press Metal to press on despite aluminium glut


Concerns over the impact the aluminium glut will have on Press Metal has sent its shares down.

Press Metal Bhd, the shares of which had been battered over the past few days, believes that worries over a global supply glut in aluminium will be temporary as China gets ready to remove an export tax on the metal starting next month.

“We should be okay. We are operationg at full capacity,” says a source close to the company.
