Prudential plans to expand workforce to 27,000 people


GEORGE TOWN: Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd plans to increase its workforce in the country to 27,000 by 2018 from 17,500 presently, said its chief executive officer Philip Seah.

Seah told StarBiz that the group’s new agents hit an all-time high in the first half of the year, increasing by over 58% year-on-year to 3,000 new agents, of which close to 80% recruited were from the Gen Y age group (1977-1994).
