UOA Damansara gets MSC M’sia Cybercentre status


PETALING JAYA: UOA Damansara has been awarded the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre status by the Government.

UOA Asset Management Sdn Bhd, the manager of UOA Real Estate Investment Trust (UOA Reit), said in a statement yesterday that UOA Damansara was the first MSC Malaysia Cybercentre in Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur.

“Completed and ready for occupancy, the MSC Malaysia Cybercentre@UOA Damansara consists of two office towers, namely, Wisma UOA Damansara and Wisma UOA Damansara II.

“The Cybercentre-designated premises, which is Wisma UOA Damanara II, is equipped with new building features such as fibre-to-the-office resilient network infrastructure on every floor, 100% backup power supply, multi-telco environment with 99.9% uptime, added security measures and a dedicated one stop centre,” it said.

As part of its Cybercentre value proposition, UOA Asset Management said UOA Damansara offered preferential rental rates to MSC Malaysia-status companies and discounts on selected e-Health related training by Advanced Informatics & Management Centre to MSC Malaysia companies in the e-Health sector.

MSC Malaysia Cybercentres are established to house MSC Malaysia-status companies, serving as a physical location and a centre to help nurture and support the growth of ICT (information and communications technology) and ICT-enabled industries and extend its benefits to the local community.
