Islamic capital market grew 8.8% in 2013


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Islamic capital market grew by 8.8% to RM1.54 trillion in 2013 from RM1.42 trillion the previous year, the Securities Commission (SC) said.

This encompassed total market capitalisation of syariah-compliant equities of RM1.03 trillion and total sukuk outstanding of RM512.1bil.
