OPPO Malaysia is commemorating the nation’s 68th Merdeka celebrations with Generasi Bebas, a video series that highlights the passion and purpose of young Malaysians.
Featuring five Gen Z individuals who reflect the diversity of interests, commitments and personalities among today’s youth, the film series captures moments from their daily lives and creative pursuits—seen through the lens of the OPPO Reno14 Series.
Generasi Bebas draws on OPPO’s slogan, Make Your Moment, offering a platform for Generation Z Malaysians to share how they embrace their individuality and harness technology in pursuit of their goals.
The series offers intimate glimpses into lives defined by personal success, celebrating the freedom to chart one’s own path. It highlights Malaysians who express themselves through craft, service, and movement: Harmitra, a performer and educator who fuses classical Indian dance with hip-hop and contemporary styles; Mohd Danishaizz, a young firefighter driven by purpose and protection; and Farah Irdina, a racing driver embodying the thrill and freedom of the open road.
Also featured are artists like Jovynn and FUGŌ, who use music to bridge genres and unite diverse audiences. Each story of theirs is filmed using the Reno14 Series, with an emphasis on clarity, detail and natural expression.
