MAYFIELD HEIGHTS: With the assistance of a Russian translator, a woman, 74, reported July 19 that she had been scammed out of US$7,350 (RM33,890) after seeking fortune teller services from a website.

She began borrowing and sending funds to the scammer with the expectation that she would receive a magic bracelet that would help her daughter with her alcohol issues.
