Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) confirmed that one of its employees at TMpoint Kajang has tested positive for Covid-19 on Dec 13.

In a statement, the company said the employee is currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.

It added that the TMpoint Kajang outlet will be closed until Dec 27 for disinfection and sanitisation in accordance with guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

A detailed contact tracing exercise to identify those who had close contact with the positive case is also being performed by MOH with the company’s Covid-19 Crisis Response Team (CRT).

MOH will reach out to those identified as close contacts for further advice and action.
