Going grocery shopping or picking up meds? Google Maps can tell you how busy the venue is

More venues on Google Maps will soon show real-time Busyness Information, so users can see how packed it is and choose to avoid crowds. — Google

Want to maintain social distancing? Google Map’s live Busyness Information will tell you how busy a venue is, so users can avoid peak hours at their destination.

Google Maps vice-president of product Dane Glasgow said in light of the pandemic, more live Busyness Information was being added, with global coverage expected to increase by five times compared to June 2020.
