SAN FRANCISCO: A Texas court has ordered Apple to pay more than US$500mil (RM2.1bil) in damages and interest for 4G patent infringements held by intellectual property company PanOptis.
The US tech giant – now worth almost US$2 trillion (RM8.41 trillion) – vowed to appeal Aug 11’s decision.
