Amazon will display names and addresses of sellers on Marketplace to combat counterfeiters

Amazon is set to begin publishing the names and addresses of third-party sellers on its Marketplace next month in an attempt to steer people away from counterfeit sellers.

This week, Business Insider reported that sellers on Amazon's Marketplace received a letter from the company stating that their names and address will soon be publicly displayed on the website. Such a change is being done to deter counterfeit sellers and to, "ensure there is a consistent baseline of seller information to help customers make informed shopping decisions".
