THE movement control order issued by the Malaysian government that went into effect Mar 18 is a necessary measure to curb the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the country.

Huawei too has taken measures to ensure that no one misses out on its latest flagship foldable device, the Huawei Mate Xs.

Its sales launch tomorrow Mar 20 will still proceed, with the multinational technology company providing VIP home delivery service for buyers.

First VIP home delivery service

Placing its customers’ health and safety first, Huawei is rolling out its delivery service for the first time.

This service will send every purchased set of the Huawei Mate Xs from its e-commerce store right to the customers’ doorstep. Huawei says this ensures its customers fully enjoy this foldable smartphone.

Customers can choose either to have theirs delivered right to their doorstep or collect their units after ordering online from Huawei stores of their preference.

Dispatchers will have masks on at all times during the delivery to ensure the safety and health of the customers.

They will also call customers ahead of their arrival and will sanitise the parcel in full view of customers before handing over the units.

Customers will also be able to enjoy after sales service via contact details provided.

Three Months Warranty on Screen Replacement

Committed towards assuring its customers have peace of mind in this period of travel restrictions, Huawei offers a one-time screen replacement within three months from date of purchase of the new Huawei Mate Xs.

This covers accidental damage caused by dropping of the smartphone, falls and other collisions.

It does not cover damage resulting from unauthorised disassembly or repair, device misuse and abuse, improper installation or device modification, damage caused by food or liquid spills, corrosion, rust or plugging to the wrong voltage.

The three months warranty comes on top of other perks that are included in the purchase of the Huawei Mate Xs – including a pair of Huawei’s Freebuds 3 worth RM679 and an Envelope Leather Case for Huawei Mate Xs worth RM299.

It is then fuelled by a 4500Ah battery that supports Huawei’s TÜV Rheinland certified 55W super-fast charging technology.
