Technical Inadvisory: Fire Emblem Heroes, fairness, and free-to-play issues

Part of FEH’s popularity and success comes from how it lets players build armies of handsome/beautiful anime characters from Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series.

Earlier this month, my favourite mobile game celebrated its third birthday – congratulations, FEH! Fire Emblem Heroes (FEH) is a well-designed light strategy game with free-to-play (F2P) gacha mechanics (i.e. spend £ for random collectibles), and it’s one of Nintendo’s notable successes in the mobile gaming market.

Part of FEH’s popularity and success comes from how it lets players build armies of handsome/beautiful anime characters from Nintendo’s Fire Emblem series. (I, for example, am partial to building squads centred around Queen Camilla, the ravishing Amazonian beauty from Fire Emblem Fates with a huge battle axe.)
