Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has become the first ever Madden NFL video game cover star athlete to win the sport's most prestigious accolade, the Super Bowl.

Thanks to his team's performance in the Super Bowl LIV on Feb 2, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is now a Super Bowl winner, thus up-ending the so-called "Madden" curse.
