Microsoft launches Surface Laptop 3 starting at RM4,499 and the Pro 7 at RM5,499

Microsoft launches two new Surface devices, the Laptop 3 and Pro 7, with the latest generation processors and reportedly longer battery life.

The Surface Laptop 3 comes in two touchscreen sizes: the 13.5in powered by 10th Generation Intel Core processor, and the 15in with AMD Ryzen processor.

Its battery supposedly lasts up to 11.5 hours and the Fast Charging capability can reportedly charge it up to 80% capacity in just one hour.

The device has USB-A and USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a removable hard drive. It also boasts a larger trackpad for easier navigation.

Meanwhile, the Surface Pro 7 tablet with 12.3in touchscreen offers an even lighter form factor, weighing at only 775g.

The Pro 7 has a quad-core 10th Generation Intel Core processor and a fast charging battery that reportedly can last up to 10.5 hours.

The Pro 7 comes in Matte Black or Platinum, while its accessories, the Signature Type Cover, Arc Mouse and Pen come in Ice Blue, Poppy Red, Black and Platinum.

The devices are available through authorised resellers Prestariang and Software One, plus authorised retailers All IT, Gizmart by PC Image, Gloo by SNS, Harvey Norman, Senheng, Lazada-Microsoft flagship store, Shopee-Microsoft flagship store and TMT by Thundermatch.

The Surface Laptop 3 13.5in is priced at RM4,499 (Intel Core i5,128GB SSD, 8GB RAM), RM5,699 (Intel Core i5,256GB SSD, 8GB RAM), and RM7,099 (Intel Core i7,256GB SSD, 16GB RAM), while the Surface Laptop 3 15in is priced at RM6,799 (AMD Ryzen, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM).

The Pro 7 goes for RM5,499 (Intel Core i5,256GB SSD, 8GB RAM), RM6,799 (Intel Core i7,256GB SSD, 16GB RAM) and RM8,299 (Intel Core i7,512GB SSD, 16GB RAM).
