Amazon presented its plans this week for three renewable energy projects that support The Climate Pledge, a goal made by the company and Global Optimism that encourages other businesses to reach the Paris Agreement 10 years ahead of schedule.

In September, Amazon co-founded The Climate Pledge with Global Optimism, an organisation that uses a positive approach to encourage social and environmental change, which "calls on signatories to be net zero carbon across their businesses by 2040".
