Though we're still waiting for Sky: Children of the Light to be released outside of the iPhone ecosystem, Apple's four other Games of 2019 are all available on console, computer, Android, or all three.

iPhone Game of the Year: Sky: Children of the Light by thatgamecompany

Released in July 2019 for the iPhone, Sky: Children Of The Light is the first title from thatgamecompany to make its debut on iOS, after a conversion of earlier hit Flower in 2017.

However, the co-operative experience blends elements taken from TGC's previous work, perhaps most notably 2012's Journey, which is available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and, since 2019, both iOS and Windows PC. Flower is also available for PlayStation 3 and PC.

Future plans for Sky: Children Of The Light include Android, Apple TV, MacOS, PC and unspecified console releases.

iPad Game of the Year: Hyper Light Drifter by Abylight, Heart Machine

Originally developed by Heart Machine and boosted by a successful crowdfunding campaign, Hyper Light Drifter launched in 2016 on PC, Mac and Linux before finding its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later in the year. A Nintendo Switch version, also courtesy of Abylight, followed in 2018.

Mac Game of the Year: Gris by Nomada Studio, Devolver Digital

Gris made its graceful entrance late on in 2018 for PC, Nintendo Switch and MacOS; August's equally well-received iOS edition was followed by a PlayStation 4 version that landed in November 2019.

Apple TV Game of the Year: Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap by Lizardcube, DotEmu

Fans of this retro-style adventure can find it on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, where it debuted in 2017, launching on PC, Mac and Linux a few months later.

As it's a remake of the 1989 Sega Master System original, console collectors can try to track it down for that, or for the TurboGrafx-16 console and Sega Game Gear, while an iOS version delivered to the Japanese App Store in 2011.
