WhatsApp now available for download for smart feature phones with either 512MB or 256MB RAM that run on KaiOS, and expected to be preloaded on all such phones by Q3. - HMD
KaiOS Technologies, maker of KaiOS operating system, announced that WhatsApp is now available for download on feature phones with 256MB and 512MB of RAM.
It added that by Q3 2019, most feature phones with KaiOS will have WhatsApp pre-installed upon shipment. Facebook is already pre-loaded on KaiOS feature phones in India, Africa, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
