Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, two weeks before traditional rival FIFA 20 hits the streets.

The 2019/20 edition of Pro Evolution Soccer is officially known as eFootball PES 2020, the franchise aligning itself more closely with the eSports scene.

New this year will be an interactive conversation system, customisable or real life managers, a performance-based elimination mode called Matchday, and more realistic player transfers and salaries.

The annual sports sim is continuing a partnership with Barcelona and has made Lionel Messi its cover star, Ronaldinho an in-game legend, and Andres Inesta a consultant.

Typical, incremental year-on-year improvements are also in, including adjustments to ball control, dribbling, and visuals.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2020 releases Sept 10 on PS4, XBO, and PC; FIFA 20, which this year is welcoming back a street football mode, launches on Sept 27 across the very same – three days earlier for the more expensive special editions – while its Nintendo Switch version omits the street match mode. – AFP Relaxnews
