The cat's many online fans are flocking to social media to express their thoughts over Grumpy Cat's death.

Grumpy had a permanent scowl on her face that inspired a thousand Internet memes to express disdain or unhappiness about any subject in general. Her unusual facial expression for a cat is due to being born with a form of dwarfism.
