The latest hit in the App Store is a game that's all about an avocado that can solve mysteries and fight crimes. In Avo! by Playdeo the young inventor Billie brings an avocado to life and together they go on adventures.

"On a quest of discovery, bravery, and ingenuity, you guide Avo through a magical world to search for clues, face epic challenges, and see how far an avocado can really go," reads the app description on the app store.

If that weren't enough to intrigue you, there's much more to discover once you play the game. It's unique in that it is a mix of videos with real people and animation. Billie is an extraordinary actress, and the avocado is surrounded by a beautifully designed laboratory.

Gameplay is mainly focused around discovering your surroundings, going on quests given by Billie and collecting beans. The collected beans unlock the next episode, of which there are eight overall.

If you want to play all eight episodes for free, then you'll have to go through each one several times in order to collect enough beans. But the developers hope you'll find this is too tedious so you buy all episodes for US$6 (RM24.83). There are also other purchases you can make for the game for no more than US$4 (RM16.55). – dpa
