New Canon IVY CLIQ+ and CLIQ instant camera printers. — Canon

Canon's new Ivy Cliq and Cliq+ Instant Camera Printers are a bright new pair of handheld printers equipped with cameras that let owners click, print, and stick their favorite memories in a snap.

Last week, Canon unveiled the Ivy Cliq and Cliq+ Instant Camera Printers, a set of new "lifestyle products for the everyday photographer who wants to snap and print stick-able memories – in an instant."

These aren't your average instaprint cameras, though. Instead, the new Cliq+, for example, has been tailored towards younger generations who are avid social media users accustomed to sprucing up their memories with filters, frames, and test overlays. This 8 MP camera-printer hybrid uses Bluetooth to connect to the Canon Mini Print App to edit their photos however they please. The Cliq+'s reprint option lets users print a pic for themselves and one for a friend.

The standard Cliq camera printer has significantly fewer bells and whistles than the Cliq+, but it still features a nice 5 MP camera with automatic flash to ensure not a single moment is missed.

Both come with an optical viewfinder, USB cord for battery charging, and can hold up to 10 sheets of 2x2 or 2x3 Zink sticky paper. The Cliq+ and Cliq Instant Camera Printers will be available in a variety of bold and vibrant colours next month for US$159.99 (RM653) and US$99.99 (RM408), respectively. – AFP Relaxnews
