Apple is now using a longer flex cable in their MacBook Pro 2018 design, which may fix screen failure issues.
iFixit reports that Apple is now using a flex cable that is 2mm longer than previous models in their MacBook Pro 2018 design, which should deal with the screen failure problem that previous models had.
