Falling block puzzle game Tetris is the latest to join the Battle Royale trend, if not one of the least likely, thanks to the Nintendo Switch's Tetris 99 and its promise of a multiplayer elimination twist on an old favourite.
"99 players enter, but only one reigns supreme!" announced Nintendo of America, as Tetris 99 was premiered in a Feb 13 edition of the console company's video-based news series, Nintendo Direct.
