While fantasy action game Vermintide 2 is bringing fan favourite maps up to date, For The King channels a pirate theme and Kingdom: Two Lands targets a Shogun Two Crowns spin-off in December.

The 2015 team-based monster-slaying action game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide took an us-versus-hordes dynamic and plopped it right in the middle of a fantasy Dark Ages crisis.

Sequel Warhammer: Vermintide 2 arrived in 2018 for PC and Xbox One (a PlayStation 4 edition is upcoming), building on the achievements (and gore) of its predecessor but, in adding Chaos forces to the Skaven hordes, took our heroes out of the city of Ubersreik and sent them on a hunt to destroy a massive portal gate.

Using data gathered from the first game, Vermintide 2 is to introduce three Vermintide levels in December download pack Back To Ubersreik, the first of which will be Horn of Magnus, the original's own starting map.

A precise date and a price are yet to be announced. August's previous Vermintide 2 DLC, Shadows Over Bögenhafen, was free to play in a Quickplay mode; owners could create custom games and access new quests, challenges and costumes.
