Tune Talk offers affordable plan for elderly and OKU

TuneTalk has introduced an affordable new mobile postpaid plan for senior citizens, and those with special needs, that costs RM10 a month.

The Value Incredible Plan, or VIP for short, is open for Malaysians above 60 years of age and those registered as OKU (persons with disabilities). The plan comes with with 2GB of mobile data and unlimited calls.

To qualify, the applicant or their guardian must furnish the relevant documents such as a soft copy of their MyKad (NRIC), OKU Card and OKU registration number. 

New and pre-existing users can apply online, through a Tune Talk authorised dealer or by calling the Tune Talk careline. 

To subscribe, after completing their document verification and OKU status update, the customer needs to download the Tune Talk app. Existing Tune Talk customers can SMS the word "VIP" to 2222 to switch over to the VIP plan.

According to the FAQ, the VIP Plan has a limited quota and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
