Celcom is offering a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for free to customers who sign up under the Mobile Platinum Plus Plan.
The postpaid plan comes with 100GB monthly Internet data plus 100GB of Super Walla Video data for streaming YouTube and movies with selected partners.
Other benefits include free unlimited social apps where you can use WhatsApp and WeChat without affecting your plan's Internet quota.
This plan comes up to RM188 a month (not inclusive of SST). To get the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for free, customers have to commit to this plan under a 24-month contract and pay an upfront payment of RM1,200. According to Celcom, the upfront payment will then be rebated in full to the customer in subsequent monthly bill(s).
Customers can choose a 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 9 model worth RM3,699 in black, blue or copper. This offer is available to new and existing customers who currently do not have a contract with Celcom. The offer is valid from today till Nov 3, 2018.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a 6.4in device with dual edge Super Amoled display. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Exynos 9810 octa-core processor (2.7GHz + 1.7GHz). The 128GB model has 6GB RAM and a huge battery capacity of 4,000mAh. It also comes with dual 12-megapixel main cameras and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
Speaking of cameras, the Note 9 has a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen stylus that can be used as a remote control to take photos. You can also click on the S Pen to control presentation slides and pause videos on YouTube.
