Dell unveils Alexa-ready Inspirons laptops

Dell has unveiled the latest additions to its Inspiron laptop range.

The Inspiron 13 7000 (7386) is a 2-in-1 13in notebook that can be configured with an Intel 8th Gen U series i5-8265U (up to 3.9GHz) or i7-8565U (up to 4.6GHz) processor, 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB hard drive.

It has a display with a thin bezel and a 2.7mm miniature webcam that uses Temporal Noise Reduction for better performance in low-light condition.

The laptop is also claimed to be great for watching movies as it has CinemaSound for improved audio and CinemaStream for streaming movies smoothly.

The device is also Alexa Ready so users can play music, manage important events and more by just using voice command but they will have to download the feature from Dell’s website first.

Price for the Inspiron 13 7000 starts from RM4,599.

If you’re looking for a more affordable option then check out the Inspiron 13 7000 (7380) which runs on an Intel 8th Gen quad-core processor, and is priced from RM3,759.

Dell also introduced the Inspiron 14 5000 (5482) 2-in-1 laptop which can be configured with an Nvidia GeForce MX130 graphic chip. The 14in device has a fingerprint reader on the power button and supports the Active Pen stylus (sold separately).

The priced for the Inspiron 14 5000 starts from RM2,919.

If you are looking for a screen that’s great for gaming, check out the 24in (S2419HGF) full HD monitor or the 27in (S2719DGF) QHD monitor. The 24in has an overclocked refresh rate of 144Hz and the 27in tops out at 155Hz.  

The 24in goes for RM976 and the 27in for RM2,009.
