For some, size does matter. British feminist activist and journalist Caroline Criado-Perez has criticised Apple for the design of the company's new iPhone models.

On Sept 13, Apple unveiled the iPhone XR with a 6.1in screen, iPhone XS with a 5.8in screen and iPhone XS Max with a 6.5in screen. In a series of tweets, Criado-Perez hammered Apple for not designing the new models with the size of an average woman's hand in mind.

so to be clear: @Apple has once again failed to update the only phone it makes that fits the average woman's handsize. weak applause all round from my arthritic hands. https://t.co/j0bhJU8l7l
