Celcom Home Fibre to be discounted more than 50% in Sabah


Celcom will be lowering the prices of its broadband plans for both homes and businesses in Sabah.

Good news for those in Sabah looking for a more affordable Internet broadband plan – Celcom will be lowering the prices of its Home Fibre broadband plans from Sept 16.

The Home Fibre Gold 40Mbps will see an RM100 reduction, from RM180 to RM80 per month and the Home Fibre Gold Supreme 100Mbps will be offered at RM120 per month, down from RM280 per month.

Both plans will come with unlimited data and a free wireless router. Calls to all networks, however, will be charged at 10 sen per minute.

For those on an existing plan, don't worry as Celcom has you covered. 

Those on Home Fibre 120 will be upgraded from 10Mbps to 100Mbps at no extra cost. Users of Home Fibre 150 (20Mbps) and 180 (40Mbps) will also be upgraded to 100Mbps and their monthly fee will be reduced to RM120. In other words, all three plans will be upgraded to 100Mbps and the monthly fee will be RM120.

Celcom will be also offering new rates for businesses from Sept 16. Business Fibre Gold Supreme 100Mbps will be priced RM130 per month while Business Fibre Gold 40Mbps at RM90 per month.

Both plans will come with unlimited data and 300 minutes of talk time to all networks, as well as a DECT phone and wireless router.

Existing Business Fibre users will also be get upgraded to 100Mbps and will be charged RM130 a month. 

The upgrading process is expected to be completed by the end of September.
