Watch out for The Nun in the Escape The Abbey 360 VR video. — YouTube

Face it, Malaysians love scary movies. The latest film to fuel our love for horror shows is The Nun, a spin-off from James Wan’s Conjuring series.

The movie, which opens on Sept 6, is about a demonic nun that is said to haunt a secluded abbey in Romania. A priest and a novitiate attempt to find out what is really going on in the abbey but why don’t you experience it for yourself first?

Warner Bros has uploaded The Nun: Escape The Abbey, a 360° video which will let you explore the creepy abbey.

The 3 minutes 29 seconds video will get your heart pounding as you explore the dark walkways and we are not even going to say how it ends.

Best experienced with the lights off, earphones plugged in and maybe with a friend or two.

The clip now has 1.3 million views on YouTube with most users urging others to look out for a jump scare.

If the thought of escaping a demonic spirit in a video is enough to scare you, then thank your lucky stars because you are not in a real-life prank.

Website VRfocus reported that a film company in Australia set up a VR prank on unsuspecting cinemagoers. They were told to experience the same VR clip with a headset.

While they were using the headsets, a group of people wearing nun costumes were brought into the room to jump on the unlucky souls.
