Carmaker Mercedes-Benz and German component supplier Bosch have announced plans to try out driverless shuttles in the US state of California.
The two companies says their goal is to develop a system that allows customers to request a vehicle that can pick up and autonomously takes a number of passengers to a pre-arranged destination.
