Porsche to use augmented reality to fix cars faster

When we take a car to the dealership to fix a problem, there's little thought given to what has gone on behind the scenes when the car is collected later and the issue has been dealt with. 

Despite main dealers having mechanics trained by the manufacturer, it's not uncommon for dealership service departments to have to contact experts at the factory to help solve a problem. And Porsche is now trialling an augmented reality system in the US to help make this process quicker, more efficient and more effective than ever.
