WASHINGTON: US Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross warned that the new EU privacy rules in effect since last week could lead to serious problems for business, medical research and law enforcement on both sides of the Atlantic.
Ross said US officials were “deeply concerned” about how the General Data Protection Regulation would be implemented, while noting that the guidance so far has been “too vague”.
