April 24 releases Frostpunk and BattleTech can be found in top five positions on the Humble Store and GOG charts, while 2016 hits No Man's Sky, Dying Light, and Dark Souls III benefit from sale discounts.

Steampunk city leadership challenge Frostpunk and sci-fi armored warfare prospect BattleTech haven't yet moved into Steam's top ten, but can both be found on official Steam key seller Humble as well as DRM-free storefront GOG a day before their release.

In addition, BattleTech is in first place on the Fanatical store – though Frostpunk is not available through that service at this time, preventing direct comparison.

Steam's revenue-based ranking is crowned, for the 13th month running, by last-person-standing title PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which ran a special event over the weekend, expanding teams from four to eight players.

Late March action game Far Cry 5 is sandwiched between 2016's Dying Light and 2011's apparently perennial Skyrim, both of which were on sale over the past week, as with fifth-placed Ghost Recon Wildlands.

And it's the big 2016 release No Man's Sky that sits atop the Humble Store chart after a week-long 60% discount, with a major update promised mid-year.
