You can now report tweets that promote self-harm and suicide

Twitter shares that while it wants its users to share their thoughts and feelings, it draws the line at encouraging or promoting self-harm and suicidal behaviour.

Twitter is fighting against those who encourage others to self-hurt or commit suicide.

There is now an update on the social media platform where users can report profiles, tweets or direct messages that promote such negative activities. Users could either report directly from their accounts or use the prepared form in Twitter's Help Centre.
