Sony Xperia flagship and mid-range models get discounted as much as RM711

Many Xperia models are on sale now.

Smartphone supermarket DirectD is offering discounts on Sony Mobile's 2017 flagship and mid-range models for the Chinese New Year celebrations. 

The 2017 Sony Mobile flagship, the Xperia XZ Premium, is going for RM2,899, down from RM3,399, while the Sony Xperia XZs is going for RM1,988, down from RM2,699.

Both boast 960fps (frames per second) super slow motion video capture, though the Xperia XZ Premium has a souped up 4K screen and faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

The updated Xperia XZ1 is also heavily discounted, dropping to RM2,488 from RM2,999. 

According to DirectD's webstore, the promotion period runs until Feb 8. 

The sale covers most of Sony's range, including the mid-range Xperia Z5 Dual at RM1,488, down from RM1,799; Xperia XA1 Ultra at RM1,488, down from RM1,899; and Xperia XA1 at RM1,199, down from RM1,088.

Even Sony's older units aren't spared, with the Xperia XA Ultra slashed to RM1,088 from RM1,499; the Xperia L1 at RM658 down from RM799; and the Xperia XA at RM588 from RM999.
