Nokia Mobile has dropped the price of its flagship Nokia 8 model down to RM1,988, in time with the coming Chinese New Year celebration.
On Nokia Malaysia's Facebook, it announced that in addition to the RM311 discount, it would also be giving a free gift that’s worth RM200.
"Chinese New Year is an auspicious season for family and friends to celebrate together-ness. Whether it’s through shared stories, delicious food or heartfelt reunions, we at Nokia invite you to cherish these moments and #BeTheGift," it said.
This promotion, available through local Nokia retailers runs past the New Year, until Feb 28.
The Nokia 8 which launched late last year was originally priced RM2,299.
The phone has a 5.3in QuadHD display and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
It operates on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, and has dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with Zeiss optics and an 13-megapixel front shooter.
