Purchasing clothes from an online marketplace can be tricky because it’s hard to be sure if they will fit you nicely.
Enter Custlr, an Android app which has a “fitting algorithm” to eliminate guesswork when buying shirts without trying it out first.
It just requires the user to shoot two photos – their front and back – while holding an A4 paper for it to measure the size of the user.
Its maker, Daniel Chua, says all purchases come with 100% fitback policy – if the shirt doesn’t fit, alteration and amendment services will be provided until it does.
“The problem with purchasing online is that often times some part of the clothing doesn’t fit you,” said Chua, who is an engineering graduate.
There are three categories to choose from – dress shirt, Muslim wear or short sleeve shirt – and in each category you have a choice of styles and materials.
You also have a selection of collars and cuffs to pick from.
The app can be downloaded from the Google Play store.
