Mark your calendar and get ready for Running Man’s star Song Ji-hyo who will be coming to Malaysia for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on Sept 21.

She will be demonstrating the Note 8’s Live Message feature, which allows users to write or draw and send it as animated GIF on any platform that supports the standard.

This is the second time a member of the popular South Korean variety show will be gracing Samsung’s launch. In March last year, Song’s co-star Lee Kwang-soo was at the launch of the Galaxy S7 Edge at Suria KLCC.

The Note 8 has a 6.3in QHD Super Amoled display (1,440 x 2,960 pixels), twin 12-megapixel rear cameras and the iconic S-Pen stylus for writing on the screen. It costs RM3,999.

Running Man was first aired in South Korea in 2010 and is still one of the most popular variety shows from the land of K-pop, currently spanning over 367 episodes.

If you have yet to catch any of the episodes, you can stream them from your desktop, smartphones or tablets with video-on demand streaming service dimsum, which offers unlimited access to the best of Asian content.

The launch will take place at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
