Sporty or stylish, but not both  that's the latest trend in smartwatches, with manufacturers steering away from all-rounders in favour of either fitness helpers or discreet wearables.

Samsung is releasing two updated sports wearables using its Tizen operating system this autumn. The Gear Sport is a smartwatch with a round touch display which connects with smartphones (from Android 4.4 and iOS 9 onwards) via Bluetooth or WiFi. It can also stream content from compatible smart TVs.
