YouTube said once a video channel crosses the threshold, it would review the content to see if it qualifies for the placement of ads.

Alphabet Inc's Google has expanded its YouTube TV streaming service into 14 new US markets to reach half of American households, with an additional 17 markets to launch in the next few weeks, the company said on Aug 17.

YouTube is broadening access to live TV streaming as younger viewers increasingly watch shows online and traditional broadcast networks grapple with aging demographics among viewers.
