The complexities of the smartphone market come to the fore again. When we thought that the comparatively more affordable Android flagship killer phones were ruling the roost, the latest numbers from research firm Strategy Analytics suggests otherwise.
The Q2 2017 numbers for global shipments suggest that the number of global smartphone shipments were at 360.4 million units – up from 341.5 million units in the same period last year.
