Swiss digital asset exchange buys US wallet maker in all-bitcoin deal

Many governments around the world are still mulling how to regulate and classify bitcoin. — Reuters

NEW YORK: Swiss digital currency exchange ShapeShift AG said on Aug 16 that it has acquired Seattle-based KeepKey Holder LLC, a maker of devices known as digital wallets, in an all-bitcoin deal.

Financial terms were undisclosed. KeepKey's wallet, which sells for about US$100 (RM429.55), stores digital currencies.
